Proverbs 17:3(Amp): “The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tries the hearts

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for being patient with me in my trials. I have failed many of my tests the first time around, but because of Your love and mercy, I have been given another chance to overcome. Each time You have strengthened me until I have been able to overcome the devil with his temptations. Lord, I do want to be conformed into Your image. It seems so impossible, but You said that with You there is nothing impossible, so I am believing You to do the work in my life that is necessary so that I might overcome and please You. Lord, be merciful and help all of us, Your children. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Charles Ramsey comerá gratis por vida

charles
Charles Ramsey, who became a national hero after helping rescue three women who were trapped in Ariel Castro’s Cleveland home for 10 years, will never have to worry about another meal after 14 restaurant pledged to give him free burgers for the rest of his life. The larger than life character was famously settling down to enjoy a Big Mac on May 6 when he was interrupted by Amanda Berry and her daughter fleeing the house where were being held captive along with Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight. Almost all the restaurants offering Ramsey the special deal are local Cleveland eateries. One notable absence is McDonald’s, which had said it would ‘be in touch’ with Ramsey after he mentioned their product in a host of media interviews.

Alejandro Fernandez Joins ‘Despicable Me 2’

Alejandro Fernandez Performs At MGM Grand In Las Vegas

The animated sequel Despicable Me 2 is sounding more interesting by the minute. Not only did they recently add Tr3s fave Benjamin Bratt to the cast, Alejandro Fernandez has joined the production too!
We’re actually pretty surprised about this casting news. Alejandro hasn’t dabbled much into acting (let alone voice acting) and it seems strange for him to be part of a project full of jibberish-speaking minions.

But Fernandez has got a very powerful singing voice, which leads us to believe that the Despicable crew may be adding some mariachi flavor to this latest installment. Let’s hope, at the very least, he shares some scenes with Benjamin’s Eduardo character.

Alejandro has actually been in the spotlight quite a bit in recent weeks. Outside of this Despicable news, he’s made major headlines for his new novela theme song duet with Christina Aguilera.

Gentleman of Salsa Gilberto Santa Rosa In Broadway Debut

Gilberto Santo Rosa Tango
The “Gentleman of Salsa” will soon be taking a temporary turn toward tango.

Gilberto Santa Rosa will make his Broadway debut this summer in the musical “Forever Tango,” which returns to New York in July for a 10-week stand featuring some of the Puerto Rican singer’s hits.

“I haven’t stopped jumping, screaming and pinching myself because I still don’t believe it,” the five-time Grammy Award winner told The Associated Press on Monday.

“I am as anxious as one can be ahead of a project like this one: super-astonished, super-surprised and all the supers you can imagine.”

Producers of the revival of Luis Bravo’s show said Tuesday that it will open July 9 at the Walter Kerr Theatre and Santa Rosa, the singer of such salsa hits as “Medias negras,” ”Perdóname” and “Amor mío no te vayas,” will spend three weeks as a guest vocalist. Future singers will be announced later.

The show traces tango’s birth on the streets of 19th-century Buenos Aires to its more modern manifestations. Throughout, men and women hook legs, parry and thrust in a sexual battle of wills.

“Forever Tango” originally opened on Broadway 1997 and earned multiple Tony nominations. It returned for a limited four-month engagement in 2004.

Santa Rosa said that while he is an expert at the salsa, he can understand the tango’s appeal. “I love tangos but most tangos are sad and my songs — the most popular — are sad too! So I am a broken hearts specialist, no matter the rhythm or genre.”

Carlos Muñoz Looks To Conquer The Indy 500 #latinoswinning

IndyCar Indy 500 Munoz
Carlos Muñoz’s initiation to Indianapolis went relatively smoothly; Conor Daly’s was a little rougher.

Either way, the two 21-year-olds will find themselves on the 2.5-mile oval Sunday, starting their engines for the biggest race in the IndyCar Series.

“It doesn’t really matter where you qualify, it’s still cool to be here,” Daly said Tuesday before the annual rookie luncheon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

All four rookies — Muñoz, Daly, AJ Allmendinger and Tristan Vautier — would agree.

But there’s almost nothing that compares to starting on the front row as a rookie, which is what Muñoz will do at the 97th running of the 500.

The last rookie driver to start on the front row was another Colombian, Juan Pablo Montoya, who qualified second in 2000 and dominated the race en route to his only Indy win.

Muñoz remembers it well. Back then, he was just a kid watching his childhood racing idol on TV and savoring every precious moment of a memorable victory that sent Colombians pouring into the streets. It was enough to convince Muñoz then that he could one day follow in Montoya’s footsteps. He just never dreamed their paths would be so similar.
